Banksy is an anonymous England-based street artist, vandal, political activist, and film director, active since the 1990s. His work has inspired countless artists around the world and changed the world of art. His works of political and social commentary have been featured on streets, walls, and bridges of cities throughout the world. You can find images of his work online and I sometimes look for inspiration because he is really good at spinning huge world and political problems into his work and it really reaches for a deeper meaning that can be hard to come up with when deciding what to create sometimes.

Last Blog Post

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love.
