Wallace and gromit

I remember watching Wallace and Gromit in elementary art school and i thought it was so funny. It's interesting because now looking back at the collection of films this production took so long and frame by frame they had to move and mold the characters for each movement. Then picture by picture create movement. I loved watching these movies but now I have even more respect for the production of everything.
The 2010 movie Tangled was an experiment for the Walt Disney company when they received new software that started the modern age of Disney movies. Just a fun fact!

The Social Dilemma on Netflix

The Social Dilemma on Netflix gives you an insight of how social media and our phones have taken over our world. Tristan Harris along with a lot of other social media creators and experts talk about how they never thought that social media would take over peoples life as much as it has. Thought the movie Tristan talks about the phycology about social media and what it does to us to get sucked in for hours. Overall I think they did a great job showing us what goes on behind the scenes of being on social media, and how everything you see on there is made just for you based on data and what you like. It has honestly made me more aware now when I get on social media so that I'm not as easily sucked into it as I used to be.

NHL Retro Reverse Jerseys

Hockey jerseys have been becoming a hot item to have. I'm not sure why they have all of a sudden but I have personally seen many people who I would never expect to wear a jersey have been repping jerseys of some of the young superstars in the league. The NHL recently released a "Retro Reverse" jersey line. These jerseys were intended to have a, well, retro look to them. Of course, some teams missed the mark bad while others hit it spot on. In my personal opinion, the best-looking one is the Colorado Avalanche jerseys featuring the Quebec Nordiques old logo.  The maroon is already not a common color but that color with the Nordiques logo is not a common thing to see and it works well. I would love to see the Retro Reverse jerseys being worn by people who just appreciate the look of them. It is a great step by the NHL to become fun and bring in new viewers through whatever means possible.

Cobra Kai Season 3 Coming In January!

The 3rd season of Cobra Kai has released a new trailer. In the trailer, you see Daniel and Johnny starting to team up to stop John Kreese and Cobra Kai. The trailer also teases the return of two characters from "The Karate Kid Part 2" which is Kumiko(Daniel's girlfriend in Karate Kid Part 2) and Chozen (Daniels karate rival in Karate Kid Part 2). Season 3 of Cobra Kai will be released on Netflix in January 2021. I hope you get the chance to watch it. -Here is a link to the trailer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LcDQqGJG8pA

Tame Impala

Tame Impala is probably one of my top 5 favorite artists. I love his music so much the vibe and the way it makes me feel while listening to it, makes me feel like I'm either in space on another planet in my own world. The beat and the tempo of his songs are very mellow and slow yet still a little upbeat. My favorites songs from him are probably Let It Happen, The Less I Know The Better, and Borderline. Also, his album covers are so abstract and weird which I LOVE. I think the colors and the designs he uses look so well together. My favorite album cover is his slow rush cover which was released on February 14, 2020. The peach and reds with a subtle hint of blue are my favorite colors. I highly recommend listening to it!

Swimming

The album, Swimming by Mac Miller, is one of my personal favorite albums. It is based in the genre Hip-hop/rap and was released August 3rd, 2018 which also happens to be my sister's birthday. It peaked at number 3 on Billboard charts on August 18th. Swimming was Mac Miller's 5th studio album. It is around 58 minutes long. This album has won a Grammy for "best rap album." Swimming has 13 songs on it with my three top favorites probably being Ladders, Self Care, and Hurt Feelings. The cover design is simple but unique.

Man On The Moon 3

This is the 3rd installment of Kid Cudi's album series "Man on the Moon". I personally think this album was really big for Cudi and was his best project since Man on the Moon 2, the first listen to a new Cudi album is always a very moving experience, this one put me into a state of  euphoria while laying in my bed. Everything about this album from the songs to the beautiful cover art fits perfectly and led to one of my favorite albums from this year.

Dylan Ramler

Dylan Ramler is a local graphic designer, with a broad range of media he works on. He has a goal of handling all graphic overlays for content creators on twitch. He does ads, banners, overlays, camera overlays, and logos. As for animation, he does original transitions for video's and livestreams. On occasion, he makes merchandise designs on a corporate/business level. I highly recommend checking out some of his work. If you'd like to meet him, just let me know!

Phoenix Suns city jersey

The Phoenix Suns city jersey just recently was put on the market place for the team. The Phoenix Suns are personally my favorite team and I bought have 2 of their jersey. As soon as I saw the jersey go live on the NBA store on Nov. 21 I was extremely eager to buy it. This jersey is just one of many to come, and there is one for every team that has been produced.

Too many sword fighters in smash?

While the smash community is talking about the new smash character "Sephiroth", I've been thinking about the fact that there is now gonna 86 characters in smash. I've also been thinking about how there is gonna be more swordfighter characters. What I'm trying to say this there are too many sword fighters in the game. Who do you think should be the next smash bros character? Leave a comment down below.

Ocean Videos

Once again while I was on TikTok I came across an amazing account with great videos. The account is @waterandlight. The page consists of short video clips a guy has taken of ocean waves crashing. The video quality is great and his videos bring me so much peace. He is a surfer as well and posts about that occasionally too. I highly recommend looking into his content.

NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139 - The Game Awards 2020 Trailer

Following the success of NieR: Automata, NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139 was announced and set to release on 04/23/2021. NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139 is a remake of the original NieR Replicant (which was only ever released in Japan) and it takes place prior to the events portrayed in NieR: Automata.  During The Game Awards for 2020, a new trailer was released for NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139 which does a wonderful job of displaying the gameplay mechanics of NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139. I've linked the trailer below for those interested in watching it as well as the official website for NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139! https://nier.square-enix-games.com/en-us/

Tokyo Ghoul

I just watched Tokyo ghoul and I have to say it is fantastic. The character develop is amazing and the ending is mind blowing. I will say the 3rd season is a little weak compared to the rest but is holds up and very important to the ending of the show.

Season 4 of Attack on titan

On December 7th 2020 the final season of attack on titan was aired. The last season has been highly anticipated. With this being the last season in a fantastic show it is a little sad. I hope by the end of the show they don't mess up the flow of the show and end it in a good way.

Cyberpunk 2077

With the release of Cyberpunk this month some people aren't very happy. There are a ton of bugs at lunch, with constant crashes its not hard to see why people aren't happy. But this is not uncommon for new releases and the bugs will be patched soon. There is a ton to do in the game and you can get very immersed into the world of cyberpunk.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch

Last week Disney released over a dozen new projects that will be coming out within the next couple of years. One of the ones that I am most excited about is the announcement and trailer for the animated Star Wars show, The Bad Batch. This show is going to take place after the Clone Wars and will be following a group of clones introduced during the last season of the Clone Wars show. The animation looks amazing and I can't wait to watch the show when it comes out in 2021.

PC > Console

A little over a year ago I bought  gaming PC. It's not super powerful but it's a lot better than what I was used to. Before I bought my PC I owned a PS4 and played on it almost everyday. The  thing was that all my friends had an Xbox or a PC so I couldn't play with them so I would get bored often, so I decided to get a PC. It is better than a console in everyway, you can play almost any game there is 1 way or another, easily talk and communicate with friends without being in a game and the game graphics look way better.

film/ disposable cameras

The past few months, I've been bringing a disposable camera with me wherever I go. They have become pretty popular recently and so many people have been asking me about the pictures when I post them. My favorite thing about using a disposable camera is that you only have 1 take. No one can tell me to retake it cause they think they look bad. Also the element of surprise and waiting for them to get developed is so fun. Here are some of my favorite pictures that I've taken!

Spin Art

While scrolling through TikTok I came across a video where a guy threw different paint colors on a canvas and then spun the canvas with a drill. I was instantly intrigued by this and started scrolling through his page. His name is Johnny Q and he has managed to create a business out of this. He sells the paintings on his website. His followers suggest colors in the comment section and ask Johnny to make a painting honoring a loved one or something significant to them. It is so enjoyable to see people reacting to their paintings. His username is @johnnyqqq if anyone wants to check out his work. This has become a big phenomenon on TikTok and creators call it spin art.
Jordan Matter Jordan Matter is a professional photographer. I see him on TikTok sometimes, but mostly on YouTube. Something I see him do a lot is 10 minute challenges. He takes as many pictures of one person as he can in 10 minutes. He usually uses a zoom lens for these since he doesn't have a whole lot of time to switch them out.

Portrait Mode w/ Dog

I recently upgraded my phone to an iPhone 11. This allowed me to take pictures using the "portrait mode" feature. I am extremely happy with how they turned out. Even if my dog makes a weird face like this one I still love the new camera and I hope these pictures will turn out to be good SUS material in the future.

Super Nintendo World

Universal Studios in Japan is opening the first Super Nintendo World on February 4th, 2021. Univeral estimates the park in Orlando will be seeing this addition sometime after 2024. (It was original 2023 but Corona.) It is like you were just dropped in a game of Super Mario! Everything looks so animated and not at all like it's a real building or hill for example. I'm still puzzled about how they got the walls to look like the animated dirt! What is it made out of, plastic?
