DMA I & II 2013

As this year comes to a close, I wanted to take this opportunity to send out the web links to the portfolios of 29 DMA I & II students. These websites are works in progress that these students will continue revise and add to next year.  If you have a minute, take a look at the wonderful art they have created.  These talented students are looking for internships, commissions, networking, and job opportunities that will help them achieve their future career goals.  If you like their work, please contact them directly for your photography, illustration, design, animation, video and filmmaking needs!  Please forward their portfolios to anyone you know who might be interested in their work. I like in this picture how the fur fades perfectly with the flower pedals.
Animation is hard. It requires a special talent that I do not have. Props to those who are capable and really enjoy this. Also I thought since everyone posts pictures and videos that I would be a little different and just post a status. So who liked animation?

Baseball HDR Photography

Found this HDR photo of the Clemson University's baseball dugout. I thought this was really cool because of how much the colors and details are brought out in the picture.

M c Laren F1 What is it? The Mclaren F1 is currently the fastest naturally aspirated production car and is worth about three times as much as a Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, with a value of around $6 million. The Mclaren F1 has around 627 horsepower, and can accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in about 3.2 seconds. It has an official top speed of 241 miles per hour. Technical Highlights Sitting just behind the lucky driver is a 6.1 liter BMW M Division naturally aspirated V12 engine. Because of its relative simplicity, the Mclaren F1 and its engine can and will spank the Bugatti Veyron all the way to next Tuesday. The F1 features no driving assists such as ABS, power steering, or traction control. This allows for the driver to be completely in control of the vehicle as opposed to the Veyron, where apparently the controls are so numb and without feeling that you can drive the two-ton car straight into a lagoon. The lack of computerized assists is furthered by the F1&#

Wood Camera

Definitely one of my favorite apps from the app store. Add a vintage effect to a photo! https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/wood-camera-vintage-photo/id495353236?mt=8
Bugatti Veyron Super Sport  What is it? The Bugatti Veyron Super Sport is the fastest, most expensive  car  on sale. It costs around £2,000,000, has 1183bhp instead of the standard Veyron’s 986bhp, accelerates from rest to 186mph in 14 seconds, and has recorded a two-way average of 268mph (though customer cars are limited to 258mph). Technical highlights No question, the heart of the Super Sport is its phenomenal, 8-litre, quad-turbo W16 engine. Changes compared with the ‘regular’ Veyron engine include new, larger turbochargers, freer-flowing inlet manifolds, remapped ECU and bigger charge-coolers. Together these changes lift peak power from 1000 to 1200PS (1183bhp in old money). According to the engineers it’s easily capable of even greater outputs, but the seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox couldn’t reliably handle them. Is it art or is it a machine
= If you feel like taking super slow motion cinematography, then the phantom cam is the camera for you capable of shooting anything form 5FPS or 13,000FPS. check it out its really eye catching.
