Cool Animation

This animation was made 2 years ago and I still love it cause even though they are just stick figures you can see the insane detail for just a few creators. Now the background on this is this animator has a some help as the two characters in the animator weren't both his as only one was. This series is called Dojo Duels as two different animators show animations of there charater facing of against the others and seeing what the community thinks and who won. This style was about of the main group called Hyun's Dojo a community full of animators primarily based around stick figures but still incredible animations.

AJR Neotheater Album cover

AJR is an american band consisting of three brothers. Their newest released album is named Neotheater, the album has 12 songs. Their album cover has the three brothers sitting on a contraption made out of different instruments above the clouds. In the background there are other contraptions rising out from the clouds. Above you can see the stars twinkling in the sky.

The Blue Album

Weezer is one of those bands that are still around and making albums and new songs, but they will never reach the peak of their success when they release the Blue Album. The Blue Album is one of the best albums in the 90's, the way that they write their music and when they write lyrics, they want to make the best song they created and a few examples of these are Undone, Buddy Holly, Say It Ain't So, and finally My Name is Jonas. Besides the music this is also one of my favorite album covers. The reason why is because the album is so austere but good at the same time. A lot of bands make their album covers the star of the show, but the album cover doesn't prove you or how good the album is gonna be. Weezers blue album is plain, simple shows all the members of the band, but this album has changed a lot of people and when they associate Weezer, they say the Blue Album.

Disney Ride Concept Art!!

Avid Disney fans will know that D23, Disney's official huge Disney comic con, was this past weekend and they revealed a whole bunch of concept art for their upcoming projects. Including their Avengers Campus, which is want I'm most excited about. Here is some of it. It look's super (ha..pun intended) fun and I would love to visit it in the future.

Scared (Live In New York) by Jeremy Zucker

Scared was performed live in New York over the summer and I think Jeremy does a really good job at getting his emotions through the microphone and doing a good job at showing you how each word is supposed to hit you.  I prefer the live version of this song over the studio recorded version.

Lady and the Tramp: Live Action!

In 2019, Disney will be releasing their new streaming service: Disney+. With this new service they will also be producing a collection of live action remakes of their classic animated films. This will be including the iconic "Lady and the Tramp". I'm personally very excited for this because instead of including CGI animals they will be using real dogs. The dog playing "Tramp" was rescued from a kill shelter :)

Digital Art Styles

One really interesting digital artist I have found goes by the username Jeffstahl_Art on Instagram. He has a very unique style and in a was is able to turn any photo into a caricature. I love finding artists like this for inspiration because they help me think of ways to draw photos in a way that’s different from the original photo. I think that can make your art a lot more interesting and stylized.

It 2

On September 6th, The second part of the movie It will hit theaters. Based on the novel by Stephen King, It Ends  takes place 27 years after the first movie ended, as it is revealed that all the kids(now grown up) must return to Derry to stop Pennywise from wreaking more havoc on its citizens. Filming took place from June 19th, to October 30 of 2018, and resulted in a 2 hour and 45 minute film. The trailr shows that It 2 will be just as terrifying as the first.

Ivy Films

Up above is the logo to one of my favorite car cinematographers,I don't know about you guys but I love cars and if you don't you should still check out his videos because of how crisp, clean and oddly satisfying they are. Here's the link to his YouTube channel  Good stuff

Halo 5: Guardians - Concept Art

The work that concept artists do is truly outstanding. Here I’ve posted some of the designs for landscapes and spartan armors in Halo 5: Guardians. I personally believe the concept art for this game is very underrated. As a huge fan of the series, I enjoy the art that 343 Industries is creating to expand the Halo Universe. The art has inspired me to draw my own spartan armor and recreations of existing armor. In the game, the concept art is a reward to players who complete specific tasks and unlock achievements. For example, the achievement ‘Gravelord’ awards the player with the art of the four different spartan armors. I highly recommend checking out other Halo concept art from Halo 5 or other installments.

Ye

Shown is the album cover for Kanye West's 8th studio album, "Ye". Kanye himself took this photo on his iPhone while on his way to the album's listening party. He then added the text in a font that seems almost handwritten and in a color that both complements and contrasts the background. This goes to show the beauty that can be found in simplicity.

@Kailerrphotography

This week for my first blog entry I'd like to write about my friend and classmate Kailer Renzenbrink and her photography. Her photography account on Instagram @kailerrphotography where she posts amazing pictures she's taken with her professional camera. She's done many photoshoot's with our friends, she's also immensely talented at photo editing from lighting to color corrections. Here are some of her amazing pictures!

CutUp

Artist Fabian Oefner produced a series of sculptures entitled, CutUp, where he sliced up cameras and suspended them in resin. This gives viewers a unique experience to see the intricate mechanics of the cameras. I think it's an interesting change to have the camera become the work of art instead of using it as a means to create art.

Corridor Digital

Corridor Digital is a YouTube channel with 6.5 million subscribers. They specialize in short films that they heavily use VFX. The channel has a small team behind it but the two main faces to the channel are Sam and Niko (Sam on the left Niko on there right). Even with the small team they put out very high quality videos on a timely manner. One of my favorite videos they have produced is Stop Motion SUPERFIGHT.

The Matrix 4

A couple of days ago it was announced that the matrix trilogy would be getting a fourth installment. The original trilogy at the time was a breakthrough for 3D animation technology and innovation. Hopefully this fourth installment holds up better than other fourth installments.

Into the Spiderverse

Spiderman- Into the Spider-verse came out in mid December of 2018 and quickly took over the box office. The LA Times revealed that it took 800 people 4 years to animate and produce this film. The artistic style mirrored that of a comic book, but it looked very sleek and technically sound. Marvel, Sony, and Pascal Pictures were the main contributors to the incredible art, and they plan on making at least one more film to follow this successful movie. I am eager to see the follow-up film to see how Marvel, Sony, and Pascal can continue to maintain their style or make it even better.

Read Dead Redemption 2

These are screenshots from my favorite video game, Red Dead Redemption 2. It is a western adventure game by Rockstar Games. It was released in October 2018, and took 7 years to make. The game's budget was estimated to have been between $80 and $100 million. Red Dead Redemption 2 had the largest opening weekend in the history of entertainment and made over $725 million in 3 days! Just a few of the awards the game has received include the following : nominated for the 2018 Game Awards Best Art Direction and 22nd Annual DICE Awards Outstanding Achievement in Art Direction. The game won the 19th Annual Game Developers Choice Awards for Best Technology and won the Italian Game Awards for Best Art Direction. It's easy to say this game is a breathtaking work of art that is not only immersive and impressive, but just down right entertaining! I encourage all of you to look up the trailers! I cannot link them because they are blocked on school wifi,so I just included some insane scre

Portrait of Bill Clinton in Monica Lewinsky's blue dress found in Epstein's private island

Add caption          This is the portrait of Bill Clinton in Monica Lewinsky's blue dress painted by Petrina Ryan-Kleid. She said that she never imagined being so controversial in america over a painting she made in school for a project. It got put on display at an art show, and there it was sold eventually making it's way to Jefferey Epstein's island. My personal reaction to this picture is to laugh, it is honestly so entertaining that there is a portrait like this out in the world. I think that it isn't very "inspirational", that mostly it serves to have people laugh over a scandal that happened during his presidential term. It serves no other purpose, is like sarcastic humor, but why I chose to blog on this is because it is so relevant and the art work is actually pretty good too. It's a well done painting. And it relates to our class because it has so much media coverage right now. It is being discussed and covered by so many media ne
I like this image a lot because the artist used bright colors, and they blended them so well. I like how the cat kind of looks like a rock mural.
