This is a mural put up in east spanish Harlem on bodega and 31st. I always like to look at this when I go to see my aunt and uncle and I think its very interesting. It was put up during Harlems crack epidemic in the 80s.

Layered

I think this is so cool. I have no idea how this was accomplished but I love it. This looks to me like the kind of project that would take a ridiculous amount of time to finish. This is an amazing piece.

Levitation

I really the levitation on these pictures. I think the shadows are also really cool. I think something with levitation would look really cool for the Me, Myself, & I project.
This picture just really drew  my eye. I think that it is beautiful.

Taped Down

I like this picture a lot. It's interesting the way they decided to turn the lines on the road into tape holding a guy down. I like how shallow the depth of field is because it brings all of your attention to the man.
This is a recent project I did where I took a photo of myself and used filters in Photoshop. This one was my favorite and that's why I want to show it off to the KHS DMA community!

Creative painting

I saw this painting a while ago on google images and I thought it was neat how the artist took such simple things  and made them look really cool.
I found this picture looking for examples of the macro lens, for our lens exploration. This picture stood out to me not only because of its great us of the macro lens, but also how the shallow depth of field adds to the composition. Also the curve of the water gives the flower the Fisheye look.

Forced Perspective

This past week in class we've been working on lens exploration and had to do forced perspective. I've always been fascinated by these types of pictures so I found some and thought I'd share.

Repetition

I really liked how the photographer displayed such a simple subject, a bench, and made it more unique. This shows that you can really take a picture of anything and make it become more interesting depending on the direction or angle you take it at. In this photo, the photographer shows repetition by taking it at an angle people wouldn't necessarily look at with this subject.
Photography with luminescent paintings fascinates me.  These are part of a photo series titled "We are all made out of stars" by Russia-based photographer Daria Khoroshavina.  I love how the emotion captured on the model's faces is so raw, and using the human body as a canvas is so organic and creates a mystical theme throughout.  To see more of the series you can visit: http://www.catinwater.com/2014/02/27/luminescent-paintings-human-body-daria-khoroshavina/
Stumbled upon these and realized these look like the projects I've seen students do in DMA last year. Really like the concept of interrupting the picture with objects. Love the color schemes.
Just messing around with the quick selection tool practicing for our next project. Thought I'd share because nothing is better than three Clydes!

Cool Double Exposure

I really like this piece because i like the way it focuses on the lines and how they transition from the keys to the zebras. Pretty awesome.
Hello friends I am Leslie and I love digital collage. That was the last project we have completed and I'm kinda thinking it could be a possible concentration for me, so here is some inspiration I've found: as you may be able to tell, I love floral things and vintage looking things. Thank u for ur time

My absolute favorite Double Exposures that i have found

They are all super creative. The way the pictures in the back flow with the humans faces just make them neat and excellent to look at. The darkness of then make for a great story in each piece.

Confusing Fisheye

Personally i think that fisheye pictures are literally the coolest thing ever. But I really like the ones that takes you a second to figure out what it is, or how it was made.  If someone looking at it asks the question, "how did they do that?" I think thats what makes a fisheye picture successful.

365 Postcards for Ants

Hi it's Cassidy J Foley #week2  These little painting are called "365 Postcards for Ants" I thought it was interesting how small and detailed these are. Loraine Loots has made a different miniature "postcard" every day of the year since the January 1st, 2013. Here is Loraine's website: http://lorraineloots.com/

Planets

Much like my last post, this deals with "little planets". However, these are all pictures instead of a video. While looking at fisheye lens images I came across ones like these, which can be created by taking a 360 °  panorama and then editing it in photoshop. Here's some examples have an okay day.

Cool motion still

I found this picture on google images and it caught my eye, I like the explosion of the crayons and the different color variation and how the colors start to blend together.

Searching for Home (Kings Marching Band)

Alex Egan here! I have designed the 2014 Marching Band show shirt for the 2nd year in a row! I am very happy that I have this opportunity! I drew this design over our Band Camp. I created 3 designs for the band directors to choose from and they picked this one!!

Flying Formation

Here's a cool example of a digital collage I found on Tumblr. Kardinal uses pictures of birds flying and edits them into unnatural yet very pretty flight patterns. You can see the whole set by clicking on the picture above.
First cool photo that i actually like this year.  cannon t5i wide angle

chalk art

Can't even imagine the amount of time it took to create these You have to have a lot of patience  Id love to see this kind of art

Macro Photograpy

After covering the macro lens in class today I really find this photo a great example of how the macro lens can be used. The way the lens captures the detail of the eye making it appear as if it were a keyhole makes me anxious to use this lens.
