Worst CGI Ever!

This is a local commercial for a Sleep Center in Odessa Texas. I guess they made it seriously, but it sure cracks me up that they were thinking this would look believable. These guys obviously don't have the kind of technology and opportunities that we do to make CGI such as this, but really? This is just terrible. Credit to those guys, though, this commercial went on TV.

Dog Made with Colored Pencils and Zip Ties

The Colombian artist  Federico Uribe  is very known for his love and need to express pop art by using materials that we use in our every day life. These sculptures are as said only made by using a bunch of color pencils, and small plastic fasteners to keep it all in place. Even though the material is something as simple as a pencils, he still pulls it off and makes it look even more awesome than expected. Other sculptures that are as unique as the pencil ones are  these realistic 3D paper sculptures . (Posted for Jordan)

Sand Art

This video shows Sand Art by Miss Simonova. It shows sand being transformed into art on an illuminated table. In this video, she is showing how people were affected in the German invasion in World War II. This video is from a talent show in Ukraine where Miss Simonova won $75,000. The video starts with a sky showing happy scenes but they quickly turn to the tragic events surrounding World War II. In the  last scene a mother and child appear inside and a man standing outside with his hands pressed against the glass saying goodbye. This art is really cool because its like no other art and it shows the skill it takes to do it.  (Posted for Kevin B.)
