The Art Of Trevor Henderson

Hello everyone! today I'm going to talk about one of my favorite Instagram artists, Trevor Henderson! The reason why I like Trevor Henderson's art is that I really like how disturbing and creepy is art is. Here are a few examples of some of his art.

hidjiworld Instagram Art

This is a drawing done by an artist in NY, named hidjiworld. That is the only name I know him by. I found him out through some other musicians and artist that I follow on Instagram, He is also in this creative, collective group formed by some very big public figures, Called AWGE. He makes very abstract art around NY on sub ways billboards, so basically anywhere he feels like he wants.

atheistic plants

Succulent plants are cool. I like how atheistic they are and how they can make a setting give off a more relaxing and eye pleasing vibe. they also are very easy to take care of which is very helpful since I've found that taking care of a plant is harder for me than it should be. Succulents also come in all shapes and sizes, ranging from ity bity plants that you can hang from the ceiling to plants big enough to have to be put in a flower pot. You should consider getting one because of how fun they are. That is all. :)

Maleficent Mistress of Evil

The movie Maleficent Mistress of Evil came out not that long ago. I haven't seen it yet but the movie looks incredible. I like that Disney is taking some of their old movies that we all love when we were growing up and now making them realistic. Watching behind the scenes of the movie off of YouTube I'm really excited to see all of them come together.

Monkey man

This is a picture of a monkey with headphones. I love the finger painting looking aspect of the monkey and the splattering. Organized chaos is my favorite kind of art.

Last Christmas

The count down to Christmas is about to begin, unless you're like me and have already been counting down but it'll be here before you know it. One of the best parts about the season is the Christmas movies. A new one coming out November 8 is Last Christmas. It's about a young woman who's been continuously unlucky and takes a job as a department store elf which leads her to meeting a new man that starts to change her life. It kind of reminds me of the movie Elf but regardless I still want to see it!

Album Cover for Lil Tecca

Lil Tecca is a fairly new artist that has blown up recently from one of his songs called Ransom. About a few months later he released and album called We Love You Tecca and I just wanted to share how cool yet simple the album cover is. Something that I found cool but I didn't realize this first is how the green on the earth is shaped like hearts. I find this cover very satisfying and find the color choice very well done. If you are into R&B or Rap, I recommend listening to a song or two if you like catchy melodic songs.

Charlie Harper

Charlie Harper is one of my father's favorite artists. Harper is a very modernist artist who is based out of Cincinnati and places his focus on birds. Harper has a mural in Cincinnati's wall mural tour, it can be found on 119 East Court Street. The piece is titled "Homecoming" and displays 2 blue birds on opposite sides of the same building. I find Harper's style of art to be calming due to it's round and simple nature.

Pokemon Sword and Shield

On February 27th, 1996 Nintendo released the first generation of Pokemon games, Pokemon Red and Pokemon Green. These games ended up being a huge success for Nintendo, and Nintendo began to continue releasing Pokemon games throughout the course of the following years. The latest addition to the Pokemon game series is Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield, which will be releasing very soon, on November 15th of this year for the Nintendo Switch. Here are some teaser pictures and the trailer for Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield!

Faces In Places

Today, I would like to introduce you all to a website called, "Faces In Places". This website contains several images of seemingly random everyday objects; however, the twist is that if you like closely, you can see the resemblance of a face. It's about having the two eyes and mouth in the right spot. Our brain will associate these 3 features to a human face. It's quite humorous just how often people will find these faces in nature, at home, and during their everyday lives. I recommend checking out the website for yourselves. Here are a few examples:

Anastasia The Musical

I love theater (in case, you couldn't tell). One of my favorite shows is the musical adaptation of Anastasia, an adaptation of the 1997 movie based on the Russian czarina. Another draw of the show is the giant screen that acts as a moving backdrop. This shows the progression from place to place. From the streets of St. Petersburg (Leningrad at the time) to Paris. It's huge and has detailed scenes. Here is some of it's scenes in the show.
