Rise of Skywalker Posters

I'm huge Star Wars fan and I'm super excited for this movie. When I saw this poster I got super excited as Star Wars posters are always super cool. I love the red and blue of both of the posters and that Rey and Kylo are fighting on both. They are super cool and I can't wait for this conclusion to the Skywalker saga. They are both super creative and I like them both.

Season 4 Episode 3 Rick and Morty (SPOILERS)

SPOILERS FOR EPISODE 3 The 3rd episode of the new season of Rick and Morty came out last night. In this episode they brought in Elon Musk to be a voice actor for his character 'Elon Tusk'. It surprised me that they could get such a big person on their show although they have gotten 'Logic' on it before. This show has countless tricks in it and messes with your head and makes you think hard about what's going on in it even though it's just a tv show. This is by far my favorite aspect of the show because it always makes things interesting and is just an all around amazing show.

Midway

The movie Midway recently came out over the weekend of November 8th. The director, Roland Emmerich brought the historical event that we know as Midway to the big screen. I personally thought the movie was beautiful shot, and the actors they chose to portray the war heroes was perfectly cast. This movie makes you fall in love with each character, where it is hard to see them die. Even the color scheme gave an extra fascination to the movie. If you haven't already, I recommend going and seeing Midway before it leaves theaters.

Thanksgiving Day Parade

The holidays are right around the corner and tradition to kick it off is to watch the Thanksgiving Day Parade.  The Parade has been Tradition since 1924 and over 50 million people tune in to watch.  Unfortunately some of the 16 most iconic floats like Charlie Brown and Cat in the Hat might not be flown this year due to sustained winds of 23-34 mph.

Meta Runners

This is an image of a show called Meta runners done by Glitch Productions it is far different because this series is all done by a youtube creator SMG4. Which if you ever watched you can tell this man doesn't make the most kid-friendly content but this show is amazing and its animation style is unique. I think you guys should watch it Meta runners takes place in a world were basically video games is life and people live for being better. Meta runners are basically people who have a robotic arm giving them capabilities far beyond that of a human's normal mind and reaction. I really think you guys should give it a watch currently Season 1 ended with episode ten so start at episode one I don't think you will regret it.

Tesla Cyber Truck

Yesterday Tesla Unveiled their newest Vehicle. It is called the "Cyber truck." I really like the design of the car it is so simple but it looks modern and futuristic. The head lights in the front look really cool because you see no cars with headlights that go across the entire front of the car.

Harry Styles SNL Art

Not only is Harry Styles a talented singer and one of the greatest artists of our time, he is also hilarious. He showed his comedic value last Saturday, November 16th When he hosted AND performed on Saturday Night live. He was in almost every skit and stole the show in every one. Not only did he have america ROTFL but his performances were beautiful. He performed his two new singles, Lights Up and his newest, Watermelon Sugar. (Which I have had on repeat for I kid you not a whole week.) The art used to promote this show was not only beautiful works of art but they also were very inspiring. They showed one of my favorite attributes of Harry. This being that he is not afraid to do things that make people uncomfortable. He steps out of the box and doesn't care what people think. Name another male artist that would plaster himself in a full ballerina get up all across america, I'll wait. He is an icon. This show helped get everyone hyped for his new album releasing December 13th. T

Taft Art Museum Feather Trees

Every year at the Taft Art Museum they pick a number of antique Christmas decor collectors and display their collections at the museum. Something that stood out to me and that our tour guide, Susan, showed us was feather trees. Feather trees are very thin and dainty trees that are meant to emphasize the ornaments and there were many of them at the museum.

Star wars Jedi fallen order

Star wars jedi fallen order is this new game where you play as the Cal. he is the main charter of the story line, in the tame there are some puzzles, fights, and the best part the boss fights, You have to think a lot more in this game than you do in others. In the begining of the game you are helping the empire so you don't know if you are good or bad, but ill let you figure that out yourself.

BLINK Mural

Last week I was down town for a showing of Mean Girls, the musical. While there, I saw many murals created during the BLINK festival earlier this year. This one totally caught my eye. I like mix of flowers and graffiti, as well as the color scheme.

Vewn, animator and painter

Vewn is a adult swim animator and a genuine inspiration for a lot of the paintings and DMA I do in my free time. Her real name is Victoria Vincent, although she gos by Vewn. Edgy, strange and some times shocking is the base of her content and animations in general while still having a childlike animation style it goes over some adult themes. Enjoy   JOE MAMA

Winter Guard

So, something a lot of people dont know about is Winterguard. Its a form of dance, just with added equipment (Flags, sabres, rifles ect.) and in each show there is a different meaning or signifficance portrayed through the music, dance, props, and expression. Winter guard internationals, otherwise known as WGI, is the competition where all of the worlds best guards go to compete every spring. Personally, as a former guard member, I love to watch recaps of former guard shows for inspiration but I think anyone can watch the shows to be inspired without knowing all the technicalities of the sport. here are some links to a few of my favorite shows: https://youtu.be/gBRMpo5oL30 https://youtu.be/-MFs3QenIps https://youtu.be/VP0tCLdTxho
This is Greta Van Fleet and they are a new band releasing two albums with my favorite song Black Smoke Rising. Their sound is classic rock with inspiration from Led Zeppelin and many others. They are very young with the youngest being 19. The sound is very clean and has very little distortion and they have made people who don't listen to rock introduce rock to them. Very impressed and I will be listening to them for a long time.

Mike Dargas

Mike Dargas is an artist from Germany. He got accepted into art school at a young age and was the only child in his classes. Dargas learned many techniques, and recieved training that led him to master three dimensional art. He also built himself a solid reputation in the tattoo scene and won numerous awards. Dargas is inspired by artist such as Sali, Caravaggio, and HR Giger. Dargas studied many techniques and developed a passion for realism which he narrowed down to hyper-realism. I found him while I was on Instagram. His work really grabbed my attention because it looked like honey was dripped on is models. It made me think about new ways I can approach my sustained investigation about bees. " The extremely precise technique with oil paint gives, like photography, a snapshot of the moment. Mike studies his subjects with such intensity, that each portrait pictures a profile of increasing intimate closeness. In his portraits, he's not limited to certain types. He paints youn

AJR Neotheatre Tour pt. ii

AJR is currently on tour across the U.S. for their album called Neotheatre which was released in Spring earlier this year (2019). With the amount of support and requests they have received from their fans, they have decided to re-boot their tour for a second part next Spring. I am beyond excited to attend a second AJR show because I saw them in Columbus in October and was blown away by the lights, the music, and everything about their performance. If I get to see them again I will definitely spend more time just enjoying the show and less time trying to capture the moment on my phone, because its near impossible to do that with such a simple camera. If you are reading this and are thinking about going to an AJR concert, they are coming to PNC Pavilion on May 20.

Rick and Morty Season 4

The Rick and Morty Season 4 premiere came out last week and was extremely exciting. I've always watched Rick and Morty because the visuals and animation is really significantly different compared to any other cartoon/animated TV series and it is really funny and fun to watch.

Ford v Ferrari

Ford v Ferrari came out this weekend, and it was amazing. It showed ford building the Ford GT in an attempt to beat Ferrari. The story was entreating and kept you on the edge of your seat for the whole 2 hour and 32 minute run time. It was a great movie and I do recommend seeing it for any car lover or anyone who likes a story about a underdog.

Care For Me

Add caption To the left is the album cover for Saba's second studio album, "Care For Me." The cover is just a simple black and white photograph of Saba in  childhood home, showing him deep in thought. Care For Me is a concept album dedicated to his late cousin, Walter E. "John Walt" Long who was stabbed to death in Chicago. Many songs in this album recall the times the two had  together in their youth. Overall I really enjoyed all aspects of this album.

Using Lasers in Architecture

These two houses were reimagined by Luftwerk, Iker Gil, and Oriol Tarragó to celebrate their creator, Mies van der Rohe. The artists used laser lights to accentuate the design of the building, and to connect it to it's environment.

Album covers

My favorite music artist Kim Petras who recently started her American tour leg on her world tour has the coolest album cover art. It's a mix of different colors that look like LED lights, and she also uses cool aspects of photography on her 3rd set of album covers.
