Hey everyone! I feel like I post a lot of little art, but I think these are super cool! It blows my mind how much detail is put into such a little drawing. The amount of patience and steadiness is crazy! I hope you guys like it!

I love how realistic this looks. It makes me appreciate it due to the fact of how much work must have been done to pull such an image off.

I like the contrast in this art piece i'm a Mickey mouse fan so i like the classic theme with the black and white. It takes me back to when i was a kid.

I recently learned how to draw this triangle. and ever since then I've been almost obsessed with i t.  The fact that someone was able to be as creative of this and come up with such a mind bending object amazes me.

Hi everybody! So this picture is totally weird to look at. But after taking a second glance at it I realized this is the perfect way to break down how to animate a character's movements. You can clearly see each part of the character (a unicorn in this case) that moves independently of the others when trying to produce realistic walking motions,etc. It's goofy to look at but it may actually be kinda helpful!

I love pictures of eyes and I just found these ones really pretty. I love how the artists captures the reflection of the eye so incredibly and has so much detail. The colors are also really vibrant which makes them very attention-grabbing.

Found some fabulous magazine cover ideas on Pinterest. Such great photography and graphics. Very fun and chic.  Love love love!

I love these embroidery pictures, the artist added a really cool effect to old pictures and made them look really modern and cool. I love that the artist tries to draw more attention to the eyes by making them the center of the embroidery.

I really like this picture because I feel like it is a great symbolism of how the world is going down the drain. It is very neat the the bottom of South America and Africa are being pulled to the drain and the rest of the world will follow (in an artistic way).

This was posted with a pin about must-have natural hair products but I found the painting visually appealing. I like how the tops pf the mountains act as the bottom of her "hair".

Congratulations to digital media art students Ryan Dilts,  Emily Hoyle, and Katrina Kessler, who each had a work of art selected for the Ohio Governor's Youth Art Exhibition. Only 300 works of art are selected out of 11,500 entries. The work of these students has been judged as the top 2% in the entire state of Ohio. The exhibition opens at the James A. Rhodes State Office Tower, across from the State Capitol, from April 17 - May 19, 2016. Congratulations to Grace Ficke.  It was announced today that Grace won a Scholastic Art & Writing National Silver Medal for her work entitled When Broccoli Collides.  Each year, the Alliance partners with more than 100 visual arts and literary arts organizations across the country to bring the Awards to local communities. Teens in grades 7 through 12 apply in 29 categories of art and writing. Submissions are juried by luminaries in the visual and literary arts, some of whom are past award recipients. Panelists look for works that best exemplify originality, technical skill, and the emergence of a personal voice or vision. Grace has been identified by panels of creative professionals as one of the most talented young artists in the nation. This year, nearly 320,000 works of art and writing were submitted. Only the top 1% were recognized at the national level.

Classic cartoon network show with a shapeshifting dog and a bubble gum princess however if you take a moment and appreciate the scenery in the episode it looks familiar to the project the AP kids just finished up with, the interior Perspective project.

These Pieces are from a South Korean design studio called Dric. They are part of the third installment of an ongoing series they have called cosmos. I love how at first they seem to be really simple gradient shapes but the more you look at them you can see the small details they add.

I love this light graffiti piece so much because of not only the pattern of the lights and color but because you can clearly see and make out the texture of the ground. 

I love HDR Photography and how you can edit simple photos to create something amazing! 

Congratulations to the following students whose work was selected at the regional judging of the Ohio  Governor's Youth Art Exhibition .  Wish them luck as their works now competes at the State level next weekend.   From the 12,000 regional entries from the 15 regions, approximately 2,500 are selected to enter the state judging. State jurors then select 300 for the actual exhibition, with 25 of the 300 chosen to receive the Governor's Award of Excellence.
