I was on Pinterest looking at portfolio layouts since we are making our websites this week and found this pin. This website has questions and answers about what to consider and avoid when creating an online portfolio and I thought it could be helpful.
This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love. This article is super useful. I think Shields should show this to her next class to avoid the rush at the end of the year when all of our websites sucked XD
ReplyDeleteThis website is pretty helpful since most of us have never done anything like a resume, website or portfolio
ReplyDeleteThis article is a real eye-opener. Creating an online Graphic Design Portfolio can be a truly daunting experience. One would assume that since being a graphic designer, one would automatically create masterpieces when creating that profile. I love that it’s giving pointers on how to get all of the designer’s vision out there and how to really personalize the interaction with a potential client. Such a great read!
