Anyone who knows me knows that I love photography and that I love the country of Haiti. Photographer Jeremy Cowart has a complete photo essay titled "Voices of Haiti". He went down after the earthquake in 2012 and used his talent to capture raw moments. I love his ability to tell a story with a single photograph. Even when his pictures are taken on the spot without much prep, they illustrate a beautiful story that tugs on your heart strings.

    These photos are very important to pay attention to. My family has been very connected to Haiti for a while, and I understand that we need to do what we can for the people there.

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes.
