Jon Arton

I recently came across the work of Jon Arton after reading an article on him. Arton is a UK based artist who mainly focuses his work on incredibly detailed portraits of people and animals. Arton's work consists of various mediums. He does commissions and has a youtube channel that is filled with tutorials on how he does his artwork.

    I love realism artists. I am infatuated with people's abilities to create art that looks like a photograph.

    the top 2 picture look so realistic, its also cool knowing that this was the first project we did this year

    The realism is amazing! I love how he made some areas of the portraits look as if there is light coming from a certain direction.

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well.
