Andrew Fairclough

Andrew Fairclough is an illustrator, designer, art director, and founder of Kindred Studio. Andrew’s work is inspired by mid-century spot illustrations, with an emphasis on texture. Most of his works are reminiscent of vintage comic-book style. He balances a muted color palette with eye-catching designs to create interesting pieces of artwork. Some clients he has worked with include; Adidas, American Express, and Universal records. His unique style makes his work stand out. Here is the link to his website along with a few of his works:

  1. I really like the picture in the middle of the hands, it reminds me of the master hand at the end of super smash bros. I also like the green shades.

Last Blog Post

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love.
