The Blair Witch Project (1999)

Since we are working on our movie trailer recreations and my group is doing The Blair Witch Project I thought I would rewatch the movie. Even after seeing this film several times, it's still able to spook me even when I know what's going to happen, the usage of the "found footage style" is what really sells me on this film, however. The Blair Witch Project helped bring the horror genre into the modern era and will always have a special place in my heart for how it made me feel the first time watching and for making me want to come back and watch again.

  1. It's honestly is a pretty good horror movie, and it's fun that they didn't have a big budget.

Last Blog Post

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well.
