Any time I feel like I have artist's block I always turn to Pinterest. Pinterest is a fantastic way to get inspired, learn new techniques, and improve your skills as an artist. I found these fantastic drawings that intrigued me right away so I had to share. I love how much movement the lines show and how well the artist replicated the faces of these famous actors. Not only is the penmanship phenomenal but the expressions that the models show truly captures their personalities. If you consider yourself an artist, or even if you don't, I highly recommend creating a Pinterest account.
This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love. ReplyDeleteI like how simple the medium is and yet the style is so complicated.
ReplyDeleteThe facial expressions, I believe, are what truly makes this art style unique to the artist. They are more interesting to look at than the stereotypical smiling face.
ReplyDeleteI love these!! So busy yet light hearted
ReplyDeleteThese look sketch- like, but they still look like complete pieces. I love how the artist created depth.
