The 1975's A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships

The 1975 just released their third album, A Brief Inquiry of Online Relationships, and I have been really intrigued by the art they have been posting for the past few months in order to promote the album. I think the busyness of each picture conveys the band's idea of the modern world and the minds of the people who live in it. I also love the repetition of the words and letters as well as the contrast of the red font placed over neutral backgrounds, especially in the bottom right picture.

  1. Very interesting concepts, I love the composition of each piece. Gives viewers a lot to think about.

  2. Love how grudge and sketchy the pieces are. The pieces are very symbolic which adds meaning to their purpose.

Last Blog Post

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love.
