Dino Tomic Gunpowder Art

Dino Tomic is an artist I've followed for a long time.  He used gunpower to create art.  Often he draws one picture with the gunpowder and then lights it on fire to reveal another image.  This creates an awesome display.  Part of the appeal is that his first image is only visible for a short amount of time.  He focuses mainly on pop culture and has gotten a large following. Here is a link to a video about him.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sHdfiVKBqpU

  1. This is so cool and creative. The way he makes his art is so unique and ive never heard of something like this before. Makes me think of the people who make art out of sand

Last Blog Post

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love.
