Seeing Colour

The movie and novel The Giver is a dystopian society where every one is the same. There are no real emotions except with in those who are chosen to be Receivers. This scene is one of my favorites in all of the film because the colours are beyond beautiful and the music is the icing on the cake to make this scene really mean something.

  1. I like the color they bring in at the end it really brings this clip together.

  2. I love dystopian genres because it opens your eyes of what can happen in the future. And this movie accurately display that awakening sense in the film. Like seeing things for the first time in your life.

Last Blog Post

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love.
