More beautiful digital paintings of beautiful ladies! I've made a post before about this form of art before but I found a few more examples of this style that I absolutely love. The way that the colors blend is so soft, yet there is a subtle hardness to it that gives it the look of a painting. The variation of color and tint in the top one is positively stunning.

  1. Reminds me of porcelain dolls how perfect they are.
I love the colors and the elegant look.

  2. I love this so much. The soft strokes make the tone of the piece feel so comforting and elegant. This artist must have spent so much time brainstorming before they could even begin the piece.

  3. also it's hilarious that we both said elegant ^

  4. I love how the background is smooth and starts to blend with the hair. The eyes and around the face are also very interesting since they are more hard and detailed.

Last Blog Post

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love. Speed Painting

This a painting made in Photoshop by a guy who goes by the name " The Concept Painter " on Youtube. He does lots of Photoshop speed painting videos and also air brush videos. This particular painting took him 3.5 hours to complete and was made using a drawing tablet similar to the ones we use in our class.

Another Comic Book Artist (Woo!): Annie Wu

If you have talked to me for more than one minute, I am a huge nerd. So, I am making another post about comic book artists. This time it's Annie Wu. She's a comic book artists who lives in Chicago, and is one of my inspiration artists for my sustained investigation. A lot of her work is dramatic with deep and dark lines with bold colors which is makes style perfect for where I first found her work. I first saw her work in the Black Canary book in 2017. Eventually, I will talk about Marvel comic book artists, but not today. If you want to check out more of her work, here is her website:  https://www.anniewuart.com/
