mini paintings

I was on stumbleupon.com and I found this amazing artist who creates mini paintings! It's amazing how she is capable of adding so much detail so such a small painting. She has been creating these as part of a 365- challenge that she hopes to continue and finish this year. You can view more of her paintings here.

  6. I love how incredibly lifelike these are. The amount of detail gives an even more realistic feel to them. Very artsy!

  7. I was going to use these for my next blog post, they're so cool! The detail at such a minuscule level is so impressive, and it's so weird when you see pencil shavings or something else next to them, making you realize just how tiny they really are.

Last Blog Post

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love.
