I was on stumbleupon.com and I found this amazing artist who creates mini paintings! It's amazing how she is capable of adding so much detail so such a small painting. She has been creating these as part of a 365- challenge that she hopes to continue and finish this year. You can view more of her paintings here.

    These are absolutely adorable and I am amazed she can have that much detail on such a small piece of art. I love the Great Gatsby one!!

    i really like the detail in the fur of the sloth, looks really good for small art.

    The great gatsby case it my favorite. The shadows give it that amazing depth that makes these images look so real.

    1st of all I love stumbleupon, and 2nd i love these pictures!!! They are all so adorable and I can't even imagine how long it would take to draw something that complex so little.

    I love how incredibly lifelike these are. The amount of detail gives an even more realistic feel to them. Very artsy!

    I was going to use these for my next blog post, they're so cool! The detail at such a minuscule level is so impressive, and it's so weird when you see pencil shavings or something else next to them, making you realize just how tiny they really are.

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. Speed Painting

This a painting made in Photoshop by a guy who goes by the name " The Concept Painter " on Youtube. He does lots of Photoshop speed painting videos and also air brush videos. This particular painting took him 3.5 hours to complete and was made using a drawing tablet similar to the ones we use in our class.

Another Comic Book Artist (Woo!): Annie Wu

 If you have talked to me for more than one minute, I am a huge nerd. So, I am making another post about comic book artists. This time it's Annie Wu. She's a comic book artists who lives in Chicago, and is one of my inspiration artists for my sustained investigation. A lot of her work is dramatic with deep and dark lines with bold colors which is makes style perfect for where I first found her work. I first saw her work in the Black Canary book in 2017.
