Okay so these are illustrations of cassettes I found on the wonderful internet. I really like the variations between the three different tapes. I also really enjoy the stroke used, it's slightly sketch-like, leaving you wondering whether the work was done in Illustrator or on paper, or a combination of both. Finally, they all really remind me of the grand movie Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist, even though the "mix-tapes" in that movie are put on CDs.
This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. I really like how these are just made out of lines, it makes the mixtapes look a lot more interesting than they really are.
