Hi :) I find these creative portraits by photographer Kyle Thompson really interesting. He actually had a job delivering pizzas before his photos went viral and he quit his job to pursue photography (smart choice in my opinion). Each photo makes me happy because they all capture something that in real life would not be possible without Photoshop. These are the kind of pictures that make me realize just how lucky we are to have the technology we do. We have the tools to create amazing things that we could never have created twenty years ago.

ReplyDeleteI interpreted the middle picture to tell the story of a man at a party who is physically there but mentally he is checked out and feels as if he is drowning. I love these photos

ReplyDeleteI love how unique all of these pictures are. It seems like if you would ask someone different what they thought of these photos each person could tell a new story out of it and interpret each picture differently.
ReplyDeleteI really like how he uses water in all the pictures included. The combination of seemingly normal actions and submersion in water is really interesting, and, like Leah said, conveys a drowning feeling. It's very powerful.
ReplyDeleteI love these photos I think water was such a cool idea especially how it seems like maybe a gloomy day it really makes you wonder what message he is trying to get across to people.
