Congratulations to our digital media art students for their success at the 2015 Scholastic Art & Writing Regional Awards. The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards is the longest-running, most prestigious recognition program for creative teens in the U.S., and the largest source of scholarships for young artists and writers. The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards have an impressive legacy dating back to 1923 and a noteworthy roster of past winners including Andy Warhol, Sylvia Plath, Truman Capote, Richard Avedon, Robert Redford and Joyce Carol Oates. Awards Presentation
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your grade group receives awards. They will only be checking in students just before their grade group is to receive awards.
Grades 9-10 will be recognized at 7pm
Grades 11-12 will be recognized at 8pm
I really like the "I Want You to Smile" Illustrator portrait because it brings emotion to the portrait. Most of the portraits that our class does are just straight-faced people.
