Rising Sea Levels and Art

Two Finnish artists, Pekka Niittyvirta and Timo Aho, created this expansive work in association with the Taigh Chearsabhagh  Museum and Arts Centre along the western coast of Scotland. The line of lights show where water will rise to if climate change causes more ice to melt. The museum wanted to showcase how their current location could be flooded within decades if the global temperature continues to rise.  Full Article+More Pictures

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes.
