I wanted to share my most recent video project: The Reccurent Dream.
I worked with Celeste Riddell and Bella Spleen on this mini project last week and entered it into Golden Lion. Two weeks ago, I was thinking I really wanted to create a random little video for Golden Lion because we were not able to enter our short film (we were not finished yet). I was hooked on the idea of some type of original voice-over and a visual to match. So, last Monday, Celeste sent me an excerpt of a poem she wrote and I brainstormed visual ideas that night. Bella and I went out and filmed the video Wednesday afternoon, I edited the 2 minute video Thursday night and into Friday morning, and after two exports, I finally submitted the video to Golden Lion that Friday, just before the deadline.
I'm very happy with the final product! I wanted to produce something that became it's own style and played with visual effects (fast/slow motion). And with the time I had, I think I achieved just that. :)
