Light Table Animation

This video was created by an animator that I found on DeviantArt. The animation was first created from multiple drawings on a light table. Then, transferred and drawn digitally.
I love the idea of original animation by drawing over and over again on paper and showing how it moves, but then making it digitally, showing how much is similar and different. The way they made this piece with a mix of old and new is inspiring!

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited.
