Pixar's Short Films

           In the Disney Pixar films they always feature a short clip before the actual movie done by a small group of people who excel at graphic design and story telling. This one is one of my most memorable short films ever for me growing up as a kid. I loved the way they told the story of the old man playing chess against himself and how  such a simple story can get so intense. Even though its not the best animation to what we have today, its still one of my favorite short films for its simplicity and its humor.

    I remember watching this short film when I was younger! This was definitely one of my favorites as well. Sure, animation nowadays is a lot better than when this was created, but even so, this little short gives such a nostalgic feeling that you don't even notice the difference between then and today.

    I have always loved these short films! Pixar always manages to fill up these short movies with a great story with subtle humor that the viewer has to see themselves, it is not always obvious. These films always make me think and I love to watch them!

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. Malena Bozzini         Malena Bozzini is a sophomore college student studying psychology. As her passion she is an artist. Her work is so original and abstract in order to dramatize her figures. She creates art out of emotion and uses her feelings to choose color and shape. One of the most interesting facts is that all of her pieces are done with colored pencils. Her art is so expressive that each piece gives out its own vibe. What makes her art unique is that it is inspired by motion and gestures.
