Remembering Senna

Wow, it's been a while since I've actually posted something to the blog...

Anyways, last Thursday marked the twentieth anniversary of the death of Ayrton Senna. For those who don't know who Senna is, he was a 3 times world champion Brazilian formula 1 driver who tragically died at the San Marino Grand Prix in Imola, Italy after his Williams Renault went off the track at 190mph and hit a concrete wall head on at 170mph.. The video above talks about the day in 1988 in Monte Carlo at the Monaco Grand Prix when he out-qualified his team-mate by almost 2 seconds, which is unheard of in Formula 1 (the voice in the video is Senna recalling his experience at Monaco). The video below is an excerpt from the movie entitled "Senna" that was made about him that was released in 2011.
And if you're really interested, you can watch the entire movie on Netflix...

Last Blog Post

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love. Malena Bozzini         Malena Bozzini is a sophomore college student studying psychology. As her passion she is an artist. Her work is so original and abstract in order to dramatize her figures. She creates art out of emotion and uses her feelings to choose color and shape. One of the most interesting facts is that all of her pieces are done with colored pencils. Her art is so expressive that each piece gives out its own vibe. What makes her art unique is that it is inspired by motion and gestures. It is amazing how she developed such a style at such a young age.  Instagram @ malenabozzini

The Art Of Trevor Henderson

Hello everyone! today I'm going to talk about one of my favorite Instagram artists, Trevor Henderson! The reason why I like Trevor Henderson's art is that I really like how disturbing and creepy is art is. Here are a few examples of some of his art.
