The New Spider Man animated movie is on the rise and for sure something to keep an eye out for. Being the first big Spider Man movie to be an animated film is exciting not only for the creators but us the fans. This is not only cool and interesting but it opens a lot of doors for new and incredible story lines on the big screen.  Spiderman - Into the Spider-Verse

  Venom is a brand new Marvel movie and has gotten some pretty good reviews. I wanted to show the trailer because the editing in this movie is insane. There are almost no mistakes and the transitions are very smooth. I can't wait to see this movie!!!

Congratulations to the students who have work in the Xavier University’s 10 th  Regional Junior and Senior High School Student Juried Exhibition. The reception is Friday, November 2, 5:00- 8:00 with awards presented at 7:00 pm. The newest album "Trench" from Twenty One Pilots came out last Friday, It's an incredible album because it's different from other albums they've created. It tells a story throughout the whole album. It talks about over coming insecurities and depression. If you enjoy listening to alternative music then I definitely recommend this band and album.

Over the weekend, I came across this awesome short film called "Active Shooter." It's about a father who is watching the news about a school shooting and he suspects that his son is the shooter. He searches his son's room in order to figure out how his son became the "shooter." The storytelling is amazing and the way they used the lighting to set the mood was phenomenal as well. I really suggest watching this film at least twice!

Over the weekend, I saw the movie A Star Is Born. This was Bradley Cooper's directorial debut. I was very impressed with what I saw. Not only was Lady Gaga's performances breathtaking, but some of the ending scenes (no spoilers) were very resonating without being too obvious. When talking about the movie with Jess Harmon, she did point out a flaw that I found interesting. She said (and I agree) the there was somewhat of a lack of chemistry between Bradley Cooper's character and Lady Gaga's charter that made it difficult to really connect with the emotions they were feeling. Despite this, I still really enjoyed the movie. I predict this will be a big Oscar contender.
