Sorelle Amore is an Australian photographer and videographer who pushes her own boundaries for her self-portraits. Dubbed "advanced selfies", Sorelle has a multitude of videos on YouTube about her advanced selfies and how she gets inspiration. She's what she likes to call a digital nomad, never staying in one location for more than a couple of weeks. She travels all over the world to showcase its beauty and photograph herself in the process. Her ability to push her personal boundaries and have fun with her self-portraits is something that's truly inspiring to me, and I hope to create work like hers someday.
This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love. beautiful shots. :)
ReplyDeleteI think it so crazy that she is able to have such great composition while also being in front of the camera. The first two picture also have great pops of color. If you did not say she was taking these photos herself I would not have guessed it.
ReplyDeleteAs Kevin stated in the previous comment, it's crazy that she took these by herself. They truly are beautiful compositions.
ReplyDeleteI remember when you showed me her Instagram. I followed her immediately. Her photography is so unique and the pictures show so much personality.
ReplyDeleteI think its really inspiring how she doesn't stay in one place for too long and travels all over the world while pushing her boundaries.
