Jerry Uelsmann is an american photographer known for his "visual poetry" in his work. He is seen as a precursor to Photoshop for his work in darkroom effects with combining multiple negatives to create new images. "Most photographers carry many cameras with multiple attachments. Most photographers have one enlarger. I have half a dozen." Uelsmann, despite the technologies we have today, continues to use this method when creating his work.

I like the emotional impact the photographer captures.
ReplyDeleteThis is a very striking technique. Not something you see a lot nowadays, yet it is effective in capturing the viewer's eye and piquing their interest.
