Video Games IRL

While looking for artists and ideas to help with our composition ideas, I found this guy by the name of Lee Vidal on DeviantArt, who takes pictures of real world locations and adds in video game characters to tell a story, while mixing the real world with fantasy. The photoshopping is very meticulous, even down to lighting and motion blur. Here are two of his photos, but you can find his full gallery on his DeviantArt page here.

  1. I love how the artist sees and understands the perspectives of the photos he used. And I also like his idea of mixing games and real life together.

  2. This looks so good. The photos are placed really nicely making it look real

Last Blog Post

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love. The Art Of Trevor Henderson
