Chris Burkard

Chris Burkard is a landscape photographer based out of California. I love the work that he does because he has been able to take photography into new things like being a speaker and a director. He was one of my inspirations in picking up photography as well. He actually made a movie about his adventures called Under an Arctic Sky. I highly recommend checking it out. Here are some of my favorite shots he has made over the years.

There was nothing to say... and everything to be felt. 

It doesn't take a genius to figure out what photographers favorite photos are. Just look at what they love most. . Son & wife at home in Pismo Beach, CA last winter.

I'm smiling so big right now. After two years of work our film 'Under an Arctic Sky' is officially available for download across the globe. I'm honored to present this body of work that so many people worked to bring to life.     love the colors and how everything blends... The thought that goes into each picture really makes it stand out!

    These pictures are awesome! Every picture has a unique detail to it that I really enjoy. Plus the colors work really well together. I really enjoy the one taken from the lake with the mountains surrounding

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. Speed Painting

This a painting made in Photoshop by a guy who goes by the name " The Concept Painter " on Youtube. He does lots of Photoshop speed painting videos and also air brush videos. This particular painting took him 3.5 hours to complete and was made using a drawing tablet similar to the ones we use in our class.

Bye For Now DMA

      Well since I'm a senior, then this is probably going to be my last blog post. Next year, I am going to do the Digital Design program at the Warren County Career Center for college credit, so I'm still going to do some DMA stuff after graduation. It's been very cool to be making cool stuff here and I'll miss you guys and I know your going to miss me and my dog Max.
