Simone Bramante

Simone Bramante is probably my favorite photographer. His photos are centered around travel and his past experiences with travel.  He has his own blog as well.  He does a really good job of capturing the unique backgrounds in breathtaking ways. Traveling is a huge part of my life so his photography is a big inspiration to me. I hope someday to be able to travel the world and take beautiful pictures like these. Below are some of my favorite photos of his.

  3. The water is the most intriguing to me. It just pops to my eyes as the color of the water is so blue

  5. These pictures are composed really well. In the first one, I like the sophistication of the building in the background and then the playfulness of the roller blades.

Last Blog Post

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love. Speed Painting

This a painting made in Photoshop by a guy who goes by the name " The Concept Painter " on Youtube. He does lots of Photoshop speed painting videos and also air brush videos. This particular painting took him 3.5 hours to complete and was made using a drawing tablet similar to the ones we use in our class.

Another Comic Book Artist (Woo!): Annie Wu

If you have talked to me for more than one minute, I am a huge nerd. So, I am making another post about comic book artists. This time it's Annie Wu. She's a comic book artists who lives in Chicago, and is one of my inspiration artists for my sustained investigation. A lot of her work is dramatic with deep and dark lines with bold colors which is makes style perfect for where I first found her work. I first saw her work in the Black Canary book in 2017. Eventually, I will talk about Marvel comic book artists, but not today. If you want to check out more of her work, here is her website:  https://www.anniewuart.com/
