Photography with luminescent paintings fascinates me.  These are part of a photo series titled "We are all made out of stars" by Russia-based photographer Daria Khoroshavina.  I love how the emotion captured on the model's faces is so raw, and using the human body as a canvas is so organic and creates a mystical theme throughout.  To see more of the series you can visit:

    absolutely love the colors they used. love how the models are plan and simple looking behind the colors.

    I love the contrast of the bright colors and the darker background and models. The paint adds a much more interesting concept to simple portraits.

    this is soooo cool, it could make such an awesome concentration for people who love photography. I'm glad the photographer used various angles and multiple models to make each piece strong in its own way

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. Speed Painting

This a painting made in Photoshop by a guy who goes by the name " The Concept Painter " on Youtube. He does lots of Photoshop speed painting videos and also air brush videos. This particular painting took him 3.5 hours to complete and was made using a drawing tablet similar to the ones we use in our class.

Another Comic Book Artist (Woo!): Annie Wu

 If you have talked to me for more than one minute, I am a huge nerd. So, I am making another post about comic book artists. This time it's Annie Wu. She's a comic book artists who lives in Chicago, and is one of my inspiration artists for my sustained investigation. A lot of her work is dramatic with deep and dark lines with bold colors which is makes style perfect for where I first found her work. I first saw her work in the Black Canary book in 2017.
