Photography with luminescent paintings fascinates me. These are part of a photo series titled "We are all made out of stars" by Russia-based photographer Daria Khoroshavina. I love how the emotion captured on the model's faces is so raw, and using the human body as a canvas is so organic and creates a mystical theme throughout. To see more of the series you can visit:
This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love. absolutely love the colors they used. love how the models are plan and simple looking behind the colors.
ReplyDeleteI love the contrast of the bright colors and the darker background and models. The paint adds a much more interesting concept to simple portraits.

ReplyDeletethis is soooo cool, it could make such an awesome concentration for people who love photography. I'm glad the photographer used various angles and multiple models to make each piece strong in its own way
