Using Lasers in Architecture

These two houses were reimagined by Luftwerk, Iker Gil, and Oriol Tarragó to celebrate their creator, Mies van der Rohe. The artists used laser lights to accentuate the design of the building, and to connect it to it's environment.

    This is a very unique way to show a design that connects to the environment, but I really like the way it is executed. Reminds me a lot of spy movies, where the spy has to go through lasers to get to there destination.

    This is so fascinating. I would have never thought lasers would accentuate the design but it really looks amazing.

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. Malena Bozzini         Malena Bozzini is a sophomore college student studying psychology. As her passion she is an artist. Her work is so original and abstract in order to dramatize her figures. She creates art out of emotion and uses her feelings to choose color and shape. One of the most interesting facts is that all of her pieces are done with colored pencils. Her art is so expressive that each piece gives out its own vibe. What makes her art unique is that it is inspired by motion and gestures.
