Mango Street

It's time I tell you of one of my favorite YouTube channels out there. Mango Street makes various videos/tutorials about film making, mainly focusing on photography. Everything that I know was self-taught from videos like theirs. Mango Street is made up of a husband and wife who dedicate their time to photography and traveling. Their videos range from around 2-6 minutes so you know that they won't spend hours wasting your time with useless information. Some of the videos that I've personally used in the past include, how to pose models, tips for shooting indoors and in ugly locations, and my personal favorite: videos talking about professionals and amateurs when it comes to photography. Their videos have most definitely influenced how I look at a situation, if you have any interest at all in the beautiful world of photography, I strongly recommend that you check out this channel because they deserve so much more recondition. :)
(I've also pasted their website where you can check out more information about them,  buy presets or merch, and learn about
the gear that they use!)

Last Blog Post

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love. Speed Painting

This a painting made in Photoshop by a guy who goes by the name " The Concept Painter " on Youtube. He does lots of Photoshop speed painting videos and also air brush videos. This particular painting took him 3.5 hours to complete and was made using a drawing tablet similar to the ones we use in our class.

Another Comic Book Artist (Woo!): Annie Wu

If you have talked to me for more than one minute, I am a huge nerd. So, I am making another post about comic book artists. This time it's Annie Wu. She's a comic book artists who lives in Chicago, and is one of my inspiration artists for my sustained investigation. A lot of her work is dramatic with deep and dark lines with bold colors which is makes style perfect for where I first found her work. I first saw her work in the Black Canary book in 2017. Eventually, I will talk about Marvel comic book artists, but not today. If you want to check out more of her work, here is her website:  https://www.anniewuart.com/
