Planting 20,000,000 Trees

Recently, a group of content creators have put together a plan to plant 20,000,000 trees by 2020. This group was founded by Mr. Beast and Mark Rober, both popular youtubers. Since planting 20,000,000 trees is too much for just 2 people, they decided to turn the challenge to everyone else, literally everyone. People can donate through TeamTrees.org  and every dollar equals 1 tree planted. People are doing charity live streams, where all the profits go towards  this goal. The current top donator for this cause is Tobi Lutke, with 1,000,001 dollars, followed by the legendary Elon Musk with 1,000,000 dollars. So far, the organization has collected 12.5 million dollars (which is 12.5 million trees) This is really cool to see people we watch for entertainment purposes come from all over to work on this one huge project. I hope they make it to 20 million before 2020.

    I've only watched a couple of Mr.Beasts videos but from the ones that I have watched I know that he is very wealthy, but he shares his wealth and Isn't mean or rude about it.

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. Malena Bozzini         Malena Bozzini is a sophomore college student studying psychology. As her passion she is an artist. Her work is so original and abstract in order to dramatize her figures. She creates art out of emotion and uses her feelings to choose color and shape. One of the most interesting facts is that all of her pieces are done with colored pencils.
