The holidays are right around the corner and tradition to kick it off is to watch the Thanksgiving Day Parade. The Parade has been Tradition since 1924 and over 50 million people tune in to watch. Unfortunately some of the 16 most iconic floats like Charlie Brown and Cat in the Hat might not be flown this year due to sustained winds of 23-34 mph.
This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love. I wish I could've seen this parade!
ReplyDeleteI wanna see the parade in person some day!
ReplyDeleteI've never actually watched the parade on TV I've only heard about it. Maybe next year I will finally get to see it and hopefully in the future see it in person.
