Brandon Woelfel is a popular photographer from New York. He graduated in 2016 from the school of visual arts in Manhattan with a bachelor degree in computer art. He has a very consistent editing style, mainly featuring portraits taken at night, with a shallow depth of field. He likes to play around with smoke and lens flares, and Bokeh effects. Brandon uses a Nikon D750, and uses a variety of lenses; primarily 50mm F1.8 or F1.4 prime lenses. Brandon has always been a great inspiration to me and his photos never fail to amaze me. He is most definitely my favorite photographer.
This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love. Hey Amber! I love that you shared this because I'm always looking for people who inspire me as an artist. I really like the picture you choose and think it is very well edited with the different volumes of light that is happening, from the sky to the dirt that she's standing on. I will have to check him out!
