American Horror Story : 1984

Ryan Murphy ( a brilliant director / screenwriter)  announced earlier this year that his 9th season of his most popular TV show 'American Horror Story' would be coming out. They decided to call it "1984". The season is heavily influenced by classic horror films in the 80's such as Friday The 13th, and Halloween. Starring an iconic cast with returning actors such as Cody Fern, Billie Lourd, Emma Roberts, Leslie Grossman, and so many more. The season begins with a group of young aerobic enthusiasts who travel to Camp Redwood for the summer after a series of murders take place in the LA area, little do they know that they will face even harder challenges such as attempting to escape from the infamous Mr. Jingles. The series is currently on the air, and will be for the next couple of weeks. (If you have yet to indulge in the world of AHS, I highly recommend that you try it, they have seasons for everyone. Including, Murder House, Apocalypse, Hotel, and many more!)

    I watched the 1st season up to whatever season was Coven and I sort of lost interest, but when Roanoke came out I got back into it. I might have to again for this season!

    I mean you already know how much I love AHS, and this season has been better than I expected. I feel like the first few episodes dragged on a bit, but the last few episodes have been really interesting. I don't know how they are going to end it and tie up all of the plot lines though.

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. Malena Bozzini         Malena Bozzini is a sophomore college student studying psychology. As her passion she is an artist. Her work is so original and abstract in order to dramatize her figures. She creates art out of emotion and uses her feelings to choose color and shape. One of the most interesting facts is that all of her pieces are done with colored pencils. Her art is so expressive that each piece gives out its own vibe. What makes her art unique is that it is inspired by motion and gestures.
