Olie West Photography

Olie West is a young photographer based out of Atlanta, Georgia. I don't remember how I got to following his page but as soon as I saw some of his shots I was very impressed. I'm sure all of the other 34,300 followers he has too are pretty impressed. He uses shallow depth of field and is very good with his angles. You can tell the the people he shoots with always feel comfortable when he is behind the camera. For more of his work you can go check out his instagram @oliewest

    I like the choice of location as well as the older filters he has over the pictures. It definitely looks like something straight out of late 90s early 2000 California.

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. Speed Painting

This a painting made in Photoshop by a guy who goes by the name " The Concept Painter " on Youtube. He does lots of Photoshop speed painting videos and also air brush videos. This particular painting took him 3.5 hours to complete and was made using a drawing tablet similar to the ones we use in our class.

Another Comic Book Artist (Woo!): Annie Wu

 If you have talked to me for more than one minute, I am a huge nerd. So, I am making another post about comic book artists. This time it's Annie Wu. She's a comic book artists who lives in Chicago, and is one of my inspiration artists for my sustained investigation. A lot of her work is dramatic with deep and dark lines with bold colors which is makes style perfect for where I first found her work. I first saw her work in the Black Canary book in 2017.
