I personally have a huge interests in modeling, fashion, and magazines. I've always loved how the photography in magazines is always odd, and the staging, makeup, outfits and poses are extreme and nothing you'd emulate in real life. In this shoot, I love the background contrasted with the tailored look of her clothing and the grungy, somewhat dark and muted color scheme with a lot of emphasis of shadow. I love the filters, color balance and setting.
This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. I love the clean sharp lines and the contrasting fabrics on the jacket of the model in the last photo, and I think it works really well with grunge/deconstructed setting.
