I always love double exposure photography and edits and I thought that this one by Christoffer Relander was very interesting. I like the unique shape it had because of the hands. I also liked that it seems like a triple exposure with 3 textures (the face, hands, and trees). Even though there is a lot going on with the three images on top of each other, it still seems simple and the predominant image is the face. I really enjoyed this image in particular.
This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. I dig this double exposure because it's different from the usual ones you see. The main subject here is the hands and not something like a person's silhouette, which makes it a bit more unique. I also love the way that her hair helps fade away the hand on the left.
