This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love. A collection of inspiration...
I like this image too! It helps you see how there are so many colors in an image that you don't even think about or realize are there, like the greenish-brown in the first image or light blue in the last one. They're not the colors that necessarily stand out the most, but the image would look totally different without them!
ReplyDeleteThe transitioning colors are what really make the piece stand out. Without them it would just be a bland photograph but it's cool to see those transitions
ReplyDeleteI like how the different shades of blue are shown in the picture of the ocean.

ReplyDeleteI really love these images, it's such a cool concept. Nature is really beautiful by itself but seeing all the variations in colors on one image just emphasizes it even more.
ReplyDeleteI really like how these images show the color schemes of nature itself. The concept really adds to the images and makes it more than just a picture of the ocean and sky.
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful and very "Tumblr". It's a great way to give the tone and temperature of an image in a summarized, yet visually appealing way.
