Orson Welles, the director of Citizen Kane, died on October 10, 1985. On November 2, 2018, his final film was released. The Other Side of the Wind has been in the making since the 70's, but it was never finished because Welles died before he could complete the film. Netflix has released the movie and an accompanying documentary about the making of the film.
This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. I find it truly wonderful that we (modern movie makers) are able to pick up a movie that was from the 70s and complete it. Viewing the trailer makes me really excited to go check it out.
