Add Fuel is the name of the street art by artist Diogo Machado. His work is very interesting and it reminds me of mosaic tile. I think art like this can make old buildings and cities look cool and unique. Diogo is Portuguese and I think you can really see some of that culture in his works.
This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love. Wow! This is really cool. I reminds me of a family friend who makes quilts that look very similar to these murals. I really like the cool color scheme.
ReplyDeleteI really like the blue color scheme because that is my favorite color. The blue and white contrasting looks super cool.
ReplyDeleteI love how the patterns contrast each other, but the color scheme ties it all together! It really helps to brighten up the buildings.
ReplyDeleteI love when graffiti artists are able to make abandoned buildings so much prettier. It is almost like a public service.
ReplyDeleteI'm such a fan of street art, I love its ability to beautify an otherwise boring cityscape. Thanks for sharing!!
ReplyDeleteI like how he uses blue, so that you can recognize when something is his work
