Dino Tomic Gunpowder Art

Dino Tomic is an artist I've followed for a long time.  He used gunpower to create art.  Often he draws one picture with the gunpowder and then lights it on fire to reveal another image.  This creates an awesome display.  Part of the appeal is that his first image is only visible for a short amount of time.  He focuses mainly on pop culture and has gotten a large following.     This is so cool and creative. The way he makes his art is so unique and ive never heard of something like this before. Makes me think of the people who make art out of sand

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. Speed Painting

This a painting made in Photoshop by a guy who goes by the name " The Concept Painter " on Youtube. He does lots of Photoshop speed painting videos and also air brush videos. This particular painting took him 3.5 hours to complete and was made using a drawing tablet similar to the ones we use in our class.

Another Comic Book Artist (Woo!): Annie Wu

 If you have talked to me for more than one minute, I am a huge nerd. So, I am making another post about comic book artists. This time it's Annie Wu. She's a comic book artists who lives in Chicago, and is one of my inspiration artists for my sustained investigation. A lot of her work is dramatic with deep and dark lines with bold colors which is makes style perfect for where I first found her work. I first saw her work in the Black Canary book in 2017.
