The holidays are right around the corner, and I have recently been seeing advertisements for Christmas light shows. One type of photography that I love seeing during the holidays, is Christmas Light Photography. Using things like string lights and candles, you can make beautiful compositions. Most Christmas Light photographers usually use a technique called "bokeh" which is basically when a camera lens renders "out of focus" points of light.
This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. ReplyDeleteThese photos are so pretty and vibrant! I didn't realize that there was a specific name for how these lights appear with the camera. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI love the last picture!!! Too cute.
ReplyDeleteThese pictures make me want it to be snowing outside and to drive around and see Christmas lights. The dramatic lighting is so beautiful in these photographs.
ReplyDeleteThese are so neat!! I definitely want to try some portraits with Christmas lights this year. :)
